Located in the Highlands, Loch Lomond is the biggest fresh water reservoir in the British isle.
With evidence of distillation all the way back to 1814, Loch Lomond is one of Scotland’s most veteran and versatile distilleries.
The distillery main business up until 1994 was mainly the production of grain whisky for other distilleries, and was the only distillery in Scotland to produce both grain and malt whisky, in 1999 two more malt stills were added, and the rest as they say, is history.
With a cooperage on site and a state of the art straight neck pot stills, Loch Lomond Distillery is able to produce a wide range of whisky and expressions, as seen in the Inchmurin and Inchmoan series.
