Since 1929, the distillery changed ownership several times until it was ultimately dismantled in 1997 after being acquired by the Loch Lomond Group. In 2004, the remaining structures of the distillery were tragically destroyed by fire; however, several well-preserved casks survived. These precious casks are carefully bottled and released annually in limited, individually numbered editions. As a result, Littlemill whisky has become highly coveted, offering enthusiasts a rare opportunity to taste a piece of history.
Known for its delicate balance of fruity and floral flavors, Littlemill whisky embodies the finest traditions of Scottish whisky craftsmanship. Whether enjoyed neat or in refined cocktails, it delivers a truly unique experience for whisky connoisseurs.
Produced using time-honored methods and the finest ingredients, Littlemill whisky is aged in carefully selected oak casks to develop its signature smoothness and complexity. With tasting notes of ripe orchard fruits, honey, and a subtle oak finish, it remains a sought-after choice among whisky aficionados worldwide.
